Tuna Omelette

Ingredients

  • 3 Egg Whites
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 can of Tuna
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • whatever seasonings you like (usually salt, pepper, and dill for me)
Whisk the eggs together in bowl, and pour them into a non-stick pan (or one sprayed with Pam). While cooking over low heat, add the tuna, seasonings, and cheese (last!). When the egg starts looking firm, fold omelette in half and cook for a couple more minutes on each side.

Transfer to a plate, sprinkle some leftover cheese on top. ENJOY!

Ahhh...the post-competition time...

...you would think this is when I'd relax, but I have been SO busy lately!

It's been tough getting back into training regularly--my body is just very exhausted after what that competition prep has put it through! I'm trying to take it day by day, so I don't injure myself overdoing anything.

Those hours spent at the gym doing cardio have been replaced by hours on end spent by my computer--writing training programs, articles, and other material for my site and my personal training clients.

One of the articles I wrote is now up on T-Nation.com, and I'd LOVE to know what you guys think about it. The link to the article itself is below, and it will be up on this site shortly: http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1516819.

What's truly incredible about that article, is the controversy it caused! If you've got a minute, take the time to read over some of the posts underneath it! There is a whole debate going on over the definition of the term "athlete." While I CERTAINLY was NOT looking for any kind of recognition by writing the article, I absolutely did not think it would turn into a lesson in the English language, complete with definitions out of the Webster's Dictionary! lol...

What I WAS hoping to do, was to give some insight into the lives of figure girls as we get ready for our competitions. I know that some people understood it the way I meant it, and have gotten PLENTY of letters from them, thanking me for putting their thoughts in writing. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU for taking the time to let me know that I was able to capture our experiences and feelings as we step on stage.

Happy Holidays to you guys, and stay tuned for an updated website with a new member's area coming VERY soon!

Lots of love and hugs,

WHOA!!!

I am BEYOND excited as I'm writing this blog!

I can't believe the outcome of my competition (taking place yesterday)...you guys will never believe this, but I WON my class!!! This makes me a National Competitor!!

I was in complete shock when I found out, as my competition was quite tough to beat! EVERY girl in that room looked fantastic and could have easily won the show, so when the judges called out the second place and left me to take FIRST, my jaw literally dropped and I couldn't believe what was happening!!

It was a fantastic experience, a TON of fun...very nerve-wrecking, but a blast nonetheless! The months of prepping, the days of no fluid or sodium intake...the chaos backstage...feeling faint because of the adrenaline rush once on stage...ALL worth it with that call out!!

I'm feeling very excited about 2007 in general. There are lots of opportunities out there...and so much to experience!

More than anything, I feel truly blessed to have the support of my family, my friends, and all of YOU guys--my fans. I am so thankful to be in the position to act as an inspiration and a motivation for you to take your health and fitness into your own hands.

Just remember--ANYTHING is possible. Even if you don't always feel you can attain something, you still can--if you want it badly enough. Reach for your goals. Life is short. Just go & make things happen!

That's it for this entry. Need to go back to working on training plans for a few of my brand new clients. I'll update this shortly...and in next month's issue of my online magazine, I'll be sure to include more photos from the show.

Love as always....

Guess what I'm doing this Saturday?!?

That's right, my competition is taking place this Saturday, right here in San Diego! It's the NPC San Diego BodyBuilding and Figure Championships on March 17th, to be exact.

I am VERY excited about it...nervous, but
still excited. I'm sure it'll be lots of fun, especially considering the fact that SO many of my friends and clients will be there to support me!

Sometimes, when I begin to think of just how lucky I am to have the opportunity to be doing what I LOVE to do while helping and inspiring so many people around me, I get OVERWHELMED with joy!! How many people can say that they CHANGE lives while having a blast every day?! On top of that, my clients are some of my best friends and are ALWAYS there to support me in everything I do.
Looking forward to seeing you guys at the show on Saturday--thanks so much for being there for me the way you always are!!

This week will be quite a busy one for me, and since my diet will be VERY different from what I'm used to towards the end of the week, I'm sure my
daily duties will feel twice as difficult as they normally do! That's one thing I'm NOT looking forward to! The great thing, however, is the fact that I get to eat as much PEANUT BUTTER as I want after the show!! (yes, that's right, laugh all you want--that's my favorite cheat food!) Regardless of the outcome of this show, I'm sure I'll begin getting ready for another shortly thereafter. It will be a rewarding experience, no matter what.

Alright, I'm off to bed to get some rest. Up at 3am to train my first client tomorrow!

By the way, the photo at the top is a preview of next month's gallery! I'm excited about the next issue of my online magazine, so as always, c
heck back REAL soon--I'll be sure to keep you updated on all the happenings in my life, as well as the very latest photos!!

Thanks for reading you guys...have a beautiful rest of the week...

Lots of love,

Welcome to my brand new site!!

This is all VERY exciting for me!!

It's been a while since I'd wanted to put together a site that would truly represent me and tell my fans more about who I am. I haven't gotten around to it due to being busy with lots of other projects...and then...Michael, the AWESOME web designer of webstyleprofessional.info found me and volunteered to help me create just what I wanted!! So this is what we came up with, I hope you all love it just as much as I do!

Alright...moving right along, just to update you guys on some of what I've been up to. I'm currently only a couple of weeks out from the San Diego NPC Bodybuilding and Figure Championships, where I'll be competing in Figure. VERY excited, getting quite nervous as well! Preparing for a show is a TON of work--between the cardio and training sessions, along with eating every couple of hours (more time consuming than it sounds!!)...there isn't much time left for anything else! Then there is my job, and of course...all the FUN shoots I've been doing lately to bring you guys lots of new content in the member's area. I've so far been lucky to have had the opportunity to work with some of the best photographers in the industry, and am sure this is only the beginning--which is definitely exciting!!

I will be sure to update you guys on exactly what I'm up to quite often, so be sure to check back every few days!! I'm leaving to the gym right now--training shoulders and arms today!

I'll leave you guys with a couple of photos of myself and Figure Pro Gina Aliotti, during a recent workout at our gym here in San Diego. Enjoy and please feel free to comment!!

Lots of love...

Hugs & Kisses,
Olesya ;o)
